Yeah so far both the stories have been pretty similar except for their personalities ( mainly Boruto ). Though I'll still watch the show for Shippuden characters and Himawari and some of the new genins

No, because I'm fairly certain he's playing the Hidden Stone for fools, and isn't betraying Boruto... that kid has twice used his lightning jutsu without killing the Leaf Shinobi. You realize that Mitski tried to express his memories, and feelings, to Boruto... and was afraid that his feelings & memories were fake... and that he might hurt Boruto as part of some secret plot by Orochimaru... so he's probably on a personal mission to discover the truth about himself, and protect Boruto.
